This is in the alley by Amsterdam Falafel. It says: “If you lived here you’d be (picture of White House) home now but you still could not vote.”

I was going through a bit of withdrawal. This one is located at the school on Upshur just east of 14th Street.

I showed the completed mural a few weeks ago but if you remember at that time there was space in gray for a future president. Some folks thought it’d be better if that was filled in. Looks like your request has been granted. I totally dig this mural.

I’ve shown this mural in various states of completion but now that it’s 100% completed and I keep receiving emails about it – here it is!
It is located on Georgia Ave. near Randolph I believe. It is pretty sweet.

So cool. Can’t believe I never spotted this one off 17th Street before.

Can’t remember if I’ve shown this one before but it blows me away every time I see it. It’s particularly cool how it’s painted on a fence. I think this is the only example of a mural on a fence that I’ve ever seen.

Sadly, it was a bit blocked by a tree but I think you can tell how phenomenal this one is.

Not exactly a mural but for some reason I really love the dog walker talking on the phone. So random…

And it’s pretty sweet! This is located on Columbia Road on the side of Mama Ayesha’s right after you cross the Ellington bridge heading from Woodley Park to Adams Morgan.
You’ll see all the Presidents from Eisenhower to Obama with Mama Ayesha in the middle. And there is even space for one more future president. I think it came out really well. What do you guys think – thumbs up or down? It was done by Karla Rodas who is President of Karlisima Murals & Design. More photos after the jump. (more…)
