“Update 2 Alarm fire 2600 block 31st NW. Original fire structure largely collapsed with fire knocked down other than hotspots. Interior hose lines extinguishing fire in adjacent home. No injuries reported. This photo was on arrival.”

“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department announced an arrest has been made in connection with the quadruple homicide, which occurred on Thursday, May 14, 2015, in the 3200 block of Woodland Drive, Northwest.

On Thursday, May 21, 2015, at 11:00 pm, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force located and arrested 34 year-old Daron Dylon Wint, of Lanham, Maryland in the 1000 block of Rhode Island Avenue, in Northeast Washington. Wint is charged with First Degree Felony Murder – While Armed.”

“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 34-year-old Daron Dylon Wint in connection with a quadruple homicide which occurred on Thursday, May 14, 2015, in the 3200 block of Woodland Drive, Northwest. He is wanted pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant charging him with Murder One while Armed.

He is described as a black male, approximately 5’7” in height, weighing approximately 155 pounds.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia. Anyone with information about this case is asked to all police at (202) 727-9099.”

“The stunning break in the case came after police matched Wint to DNA found on the crust of a Domino’s pizza that had been ordered to the house the night of May 13, as the victims were being held, according to three law enforcement officials with knowledge of the investigation”

The person of interest was possibly operating a blue 2008 Porsche 911 sports car that was located abandoned in the 8000 block of Annapolis Road, in New Carrollton, Maryland.

Anyone with information about the person of interest, or who observed the vehicle being operated between Wednesday, May 13, 2015 and May 14, 2015, is asked to call police.

“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are investigating the deaths of four people in the 3200 block of Woodland Drive, NW.

On Thursday, May 14, 2015, just before 1:30 pm, personnel from the DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services (DCFEMS) responded to a residence for the report of a fire in the 3200 block of Woodland Drive, NW. While extinguishing the fire, four people – three adults and a juvenile – were discovered inside. The occupants have been confirmed deceased. At this time, the decedent’s identities have not been confirmed.

The case is being investigated by members of the MPD Major Case Squad, with assistance from the Arson and Explosives Task Force. The Task Force includes members from MPD, DCFEMS and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.

Police are asking that anyone with information on this case or anyone who saw a blue 2008 Porsche bearing DC tags DK2418, on May 14, 2015 between 10:30 am and 5:30 pm, to contact police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.”
