This property was listed prior to Labor Day. Inventory of active listings was seriously low at that moment, and the number of homes newly listed for sale shot up in many neighborhoods across DC the weekend following Labor Day. Buyers were in and out of town over the summer, making the buyer pool somewhat unpredictable. Adjacent to Gallaudet University, the NE DC neighborhood of Trinidad has benefited from the buzz and commercial activity around the nearby H Street NE corridor, which it is just north of. In recent years, the area has experienced new construction condos, as well as condo conversions of many of the plentiful post World War II-built brick four unit buildings. Investors have additionally been buying up the fee simple houses and, like much of the city, have been commanding steadily increasing prices over the past several years.
