I stopped by on Sunday and indeed their new awning is already up:
Black Fox Lounge closed back on Jan. 1st. Updates on Salty Dog Tavern when more is known.
UPDATE from the Washington Post. Confirmed for early summer.
A tipster says yes. In that row just south of the Dupont North metro exit where the Sweetgreen, ShopHouse and Burger joint are. If true this would be the 2nd Beefsteak, following the one in Foggy Bottom. You can read about the “vegetable-focused fast casual restaurant” here.

Update from a press release:
“San Francisco Bay Area based clothing retailer Fillmore & 5th has announced the location of its sixth boutique, opening today in Washington DC’s historic Dupont Circle at 1630 Connecticut Avenue, NW.
The store will be open every day from 11am to 7pm. Consignors have the option to make an appointment to bring in items during buying hours or leave pieces at the store for valuation and a follow-up quote via email. Interested consignors may call (202) 627-2711to set up an appointment.”
This is in the 1600 block of Connecticut Ave, NW in the former frozen yogurt spot.

Back in April 2014 we noted that the City2Cafe space was for lease on 18th Street. Standby for DC Grill Express. Will update with menu when they open.
City2Cafe opened up in the former Lloyd’s Deli/Miss Kim’s space back in July 2010.

Nature’s Table has closed on 19th Street in south Dupont. I’m told a new restaurant with a similar menu called Maso will be opening in the space in about 5 weeks. Updates when they open. Were there any fans of Nature’s Table?

“Riccardi Clothier (1300 Connecticut) appears to be going out of business. It looks like a nice store, so I’m sad for them. But I will not miss the TERRIFYING moving advertising mannequin they have out front. Seriously, this thing scares the heck out of me, and I see it at least twice a day. I’ve never understood it, since it doesn’t seem in line with the pleasant professional style of the store.”
