“An act of collective altruism took place this afternoon outside Teaism in Dupont Circle. An SUV got stuck in the haphazardly plowed roads across from the tea house, its wheels spinning out as it tried to breach a small snow bank. A few folks tried to get the car moving, unsuccessfully. Then, in a flurry, a group of employees from Teaism filed out front, one by one, adorned with aprons in place of winter coats, and helped propel the car to freedom.
