The Fuss Release New Full Length LP “In Person”  

Formed in 2014, DC’s The Fuss carry on the ska & rocksteady tradition with a modern twist including jazz and pop influences. The group has long been based in Petworth, DC and is a part of the community, playing neighborhood festivals and benefit events (H Street, Washington Folk Life) as well as nightclub staples (9:30 Club, Black Cat). They’re excited to introduce their 2nd full length record, In Person, with a record release show at The Runaway in Brookland, DC on Saturday October 8 at 8:30. The avenue has become a one-way towards Michigan Ave. NE. “In celebration of Banned Book Week, neighborhood restaurant Brookland’s Finest is offering curated Book & Beer pairings through Saturday, September 24th. Each of the restaurant’s ten local drafts have been thoughtfully paired with a frequently banned book and diners are encouraged to pick up reading material from the restaurant’s Little Free Library, which is currently stocked with banned books as a part of a partnership with Flying Dog Brewery.
