“New Wellness + Art Shop Opening in Brookland/Woodridge”

3419 18th Street, NE

“Dear PoPville,

The new store is called Made With Love. It’s designed to be a neighborhood space for wellness and art. From the physical space itself (which I personally renovated), to the products sold here, to the art people can make here, everything in the space is made with love. We honor that we are all unique individuals made with love, made of love, made for love.

Here, we sell handmade wellness-related goods made by local businesses and artists (candles, body and hair products, wellness journals, art kits, essential oils, and more), featuring makers of color. We will also hold family friendly art and wellness classes, such as expressive painting, therapeutic journaling, meditative coloring, tea mixing, and more. This is a space to unplug, slow down, and enjoy!

We’re preparing for a soft opening this Friday and weekend.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
