“The longest continuously running neighborhood festival in the nation’s capital invites residents and neighbors from across the District and beyond to experience its renowned eclectic culture, creativity, diversity, restaurants and shops of the historic neighborhood. The 2017 Adams Morgan Day celebration will take place Sunday, Sept. 10, from 12 noon to 6 p.m., and will open with a dog parade along two blocks of 18th Street. For the first time in three years, 18th Street will be partly closed for the day to increase vending, live music and entertainment for all ages.
