I’m happy to report that I saw a permit in the window of this classic Shaw building located on the corner of 10th and O Streets, NW. Under proposed use it says “apartment houses”.

I’m a big fan of this Ledroit Park row house (near Anna J Cooper Circle). It’s interesting to note that this is one of the very few two level row houses with the circular turret type structure in the front. Most of this style that I’ve seen around town are 3 levels.

The light on Sunday was making this mini one in Shaw look even more spectacular.

One of my favorite Ledroit Park beauties.

This Truxton Circle home could use a little love but has some killer bones.

More great bungalows from 16th Street Heights.

I’m totally digging this window:

Here’s another unusual one from way out on Nebraska Ave. What makes it particularly unusual/interesting is the front. It’s a row house but looks like an addition extended it out to the front yard.

I hope you guys like this house because a reader sent me a tip about it and it took me a really really long time to get to. I don’t even know what this neighborhood is called but the house is near Oregon and Nebraska Aves, NW. And by the by don’t ever walk through the park via Military Road…

A few more photos after the jump. (more…)

North Columbia Heights classic, with one of my favorite windows:
