This is actually going to be Ledroit Park’s newest business.
“Dear PoP,
First, the guys that own the LeDroit Park Market are apparently opening a sandwich place on the corner of Elm and 2nd (across from Parker Flats, yellow building) sometime in the next few weeks.”
I spoke with the folks from Ledroit Park Market and they said the new spot (pictured above) should be open in the next week or so. In the meantime, I think outside looks great.

I’ve always liked this one from Ledroit Park Bloomingdale. Do you think the paint choice works?
The house on 3rd St, NW near Anna J. Cooper Circle in Ledroit Park is looking good. Last time we checked scaffolding had just gone up. I’m eager to see if this remains a single family home or is split up into condos. Either way, I’m excited to see it’s finally getting the attention it deserves.

So many cool things about this house. Look anywhere and you’re bound to find something you like. I wanna say this is Dupontish near 17th or 18th.
This one in Adams Morgan has some killer windows. A neighbor saw me admiring it and told me that it has not been split into condos and has been owned by the same couple for years.
I’m gonna call this one door(way) of the day as well.
I know this is possibly a fire hazard but I’m really digging the siding on this one from Capitol Hill.
Sorry about the house being a bit obscured by the tree but I still think it’s worthy of HotD honors (I think I once featured the door before). I was really digging the third floor up top.
