The sun was a bit in my face but I think you can tell how sweet this Capitol Hill row house is. Some of the best windows in town.

I’m a sucker for the porches on these Brookland homes.

One of my favorites from Capitol Hill. Anyone who recognizes this house – do you also know the name of the park it overlooks?
Sweet details on the front steps too:

I’m gonna be featuring a lot from Brookland, Edgewood and Michigan Park this week. I think this one is from Michigan Park. It is not super fancy but it’s one my favorites I spotted this weekend.

This Chevy Chase house was pretty killer but I couldn’t get it all in one frame. The above shot gives you a bit of the flavor. And actually my favorite part was the door:

The detail is insane:

Yup this beauty is also from Forest Hills. I think it’s one of my all time favorites. Check out what it looked like in the winter here.

Another beauty from Forest Hills. And multiple best spots for a morning cup of coffee or mojito…

This modern one is in the Forrest Hills neighborhood. I hadn’t been back to that neighborhood since the winter. All I can say is wow. Lots of cool shots coming from there throughout the week.

This modern looking row house from Foggy Bottom actually also has a cool looking roof deck that is a bit obscured by the branch. What year do you think this was built/renovated like this?

This row house near Adams Morgan looks rather common at first glance but up top it is exceptional:
