One of my all-time favorites from Columbia Heights (13th St, NW).

It’s been a while since I’ve given some love to these great detached homes in 16th/14th St Heights.

This great one from Capitol Hill could probably use a few touch ups but I’m completely enamored by the room up top:


This is a pretty unique one I found in Brookland (near the Edgewood border). The rest of the homes on the block were all brick row houses like the one in the photo to the left.

This is a modest Columbia Heights row house but I really like the detail:

There is even some detail that I never noticed before:


Great details on this split house in the Mt. Vernon Square area.


I love this one in Columbia Heights but it’s often hard to catch the details blocked by trees. You can see them a bit better now:

This one in Cleveland Park is all about the sunroom above the garage. I love how you can see the tree through the window and the skylight:


I love the roof line and details of this Shaw row house.
