This is the probably the most Hydrangeas in one spot you’ll ever see. The house itself is great too – and has awesome porch details. (From 11th and Vermont Ave, NW)

As an admitted lover of vines – this one was a no brainer (south of Logan Circle.)

Nearby this one may have slightly crossed the line for even my love of vines…

This Mansion (now condos) on Logan Circle is simply jaw dropping. Next time you pass through Logan Circle stop a sec to look at it. Just awesome.

And I didn’t even realize the architect was Ulysses S. Grant Jr.

“Dear PoP,

It sits on a double lot with a huge yard and lots of big, old trees surrounding.

Cannot really do the place justice with my point and shoot camera – need a wider angle lens to appreciate the size of this yard, the double lot and how far back this house stretches. Stands out on this block and in the city in general. My dogs would kill for that yard!”

This great house is from the intersection of 11th/Vermont Ave, NW. It was beautifully restored a few years ago. Sadly, I can’t find my before pictures but it really was a great restoration.

The copper on this house is phenomenal. Hopefully it doesn’t become a victim of the recent copper thieves (leaving the neighborhood/street out intentionally.)
