One of my favorites from Capitol Hill. I love when I forget where these are and then pass them – always stops me dead in my tracks.

One of Dupont’s greatest.

And I just liked the light on the tree by this sculpture above the door:

I always stop to admire this great one from Mt. Vernon Square.

Ending the week with one of my all time favorites from Cleveland Park.

Every couple of months when I wander through this section of Cleveland Park I always expect that there will be a huge addition to this house. There never is. I don’t know if it’s the shutters or what but I always stop to appreciate this little house. I feel like most people hate this house when I’ve talked about it in the past – any other fans?

A couple of movie set looking classics from Cleveland Park.

I’m always struck by the 2nd floor blue bay window. From Mt. Pleasant.

Modern row house in Pleasant Plains/Columbia Heights with what looks like a phenomenal spot for a morning cup of coffee and/or mojito.

I love this house (now apartments I think) from 13th St, NW by Cardozo High School.

While I like these big detached ones in Cleveland Park, for this one, I was taken by the copper and porch decoration.
