The trompe l’oiel house in Georgetown. Though it’s not exactly clear what the trompe l’oiel actually is, unless that’s not really a door…

Today’s house of the day gets honors because it is hard to believe this was once the “knock loud” house. From 2008:



A great one right by the Ledroit Park sign. Also the one next door is getting renovated – looking forward to seeing how it turns out (if it goes up for sale.)


I especially like the great wrap around porch.
