This garden near the 9:30 club is just the end of a phenomenal strip of Vermont Ave that it all decked out all the way down to Logan Circle. If I recall from last year there is a very heavy community/volunteer aspect to these great gardens. Nicely done again this year!

I don’t know if you or anyone else has ever noticed it, but some guerilla gardener has take over a tiny patch of green space on the corner of Kansas and Taylor — right next to an auto body shop — and turned it into a Victory Garden. I think this is the second year they’ve done that. I love it.”

But what was even cooler was talking to the owner. It turns out that his elderly neighbors are also big fans of the garden. But unlike normal people he decided to start a garden for them in front of their house. Mark one for going above and beyond:
