“On Saturday from 10-6, we’ll (She Loves Me, 808 Upshur Street, NW) be hosting our first annual Dalia Day, featuring hundreds of dahlias by the stem grown locally by Belle Blooms Farm in Frederick.
For every dahlia you purchase, $1 will go to Ayuda, a local organization that provides legal, social and language services for thousands of vulnerable immigrants in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia every year.
It’s free to attend, and folks are encouraged to build their own bouquet, snag a single stem or just come to take some great pics.”

For one weekend, The Park at CityCenter [1098 New York Ave, NW] will be transformed into an interactive, urban garden covered in more than 40,000 tulips. Guests are welcome to visit the Field of Tulips April 26 – April 28 from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.
Roaming the garden is free to all and tulips may be taken home for $1 a stem with a portion of all proceeds benefitting DC Central Kitchen.”
