From Moreland’s (5501 14th Street, NW):
“Our friends at Altos tequila have supplied us with take home shakers to help us quench your thirst during these weird times. $9 shake at home Spicy Pineapple Margaritas all weekend or while supplies last. Easy to order and pay online for easy contactless pick-up.”

“Dear PoPville,
Given that I’ll be spending the foreseeable future in sweats and a t-shirt, can we get some suggestions of local businesses who are selling swag that we could add to delivery/curbside pick up orders? If I’m going to be rocking a sweatshirt, I’d love it to be helping the community.”
The Pug has some great gear, a few sizes still available – who else?

If you have a photo of a neat find from your house or place of work please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail.com thanks. Please let me know where/what neighborhood you found it in too. Thanks.
Ah this is so cool, thanks to Pablo for sending:
“Found this bottle during a renovation of my home in Columbia Heights. It’s a bottle, with cork still in it, of what I think is for Pointer Maryland Rye Whiskey from Baltimore. Bottle has raised lettering on the back for a local business, Evans Tavern 18th & L STS. N. W. (more…)

From the good people of All Purpose:
“Both All-Purpose locations are offering selections from the regular menu for takeout and delivery alongside nightly specials, including take-home pizza kits with everything you need to bake pizza at home ($15). Alcohol to-go is available for pickup only and can be ordered ahead online. The menu includes wine, beer, growler fills, Aperol Spritz kits, batched cocktails and a selection of “bottomless” brunch cocktail packages. AP Shaw piloted a CSA this week to help our farmers at Earth N Eats Farms.

This week’s box (picture above) had 1 dozen eggs, 1/2 gallon of milk, 1lb carrots, 2 heads of lettuce, 8oz salad mix greens, 1.5lbs of dried beans, 3lbs Kennenbec pototoes & 1lb beets. We are purchasing them for $25 from the farms and selling them for $20.83 + 20% employee fund (total of $25).* Let me know if this needs clarification. The plan is to expand the CSA program to All-Purpose Capitol Riverfront this week. Each location will have boxes delivered on Tuesdays for purchase that day (while supplies last). Both APs are also selling convenience items like toilet paper ($1 per roll) and can be added on to any food order.

From Ivy & Coney:
“folks have been super generous with their purchases and donations to our staff as we struggle to make it through this. As a small thank you we have created a coloring book and will be giving out digital pages each day to anyone donating or making purchases through our website (new pages every few days). Hopefully it provides a small amount of entertainment to help keep folks sane as we ride this out.”
