Missed Connection – Irish Reporter Traveling with Prime Minister’s Delegation

“Dear PoPville,

I had a missed connection today (yesterday, Wednesday.) I was walking along H street by Lafayette Park and noticed a gaggle of people walking on the sidewalk towards me. I saw Secret Service and stood aside and also tried to figure out who the dignitary was.

That’s when I turned and noticed a lovely brunette in a green floral dress following the group. We made eye contact and she smiled – and also clearly discerned my curiosity in the group she was loosely following. She volunteered that it was the Irish Prime Minister, or Taoiseach, in town to meet President Biden. We got to chatting and and I learned she was a reporter traveling with the PM’s delegation. I was at Copycat Co on H street (Saturday night, 3/12) with a group of friends. We were saddled up to the bar and this very cute brunette with glasses (B.) was sitting behind me. I met him last Friday (March 4th) dancing at Madams Organ. I was more drunk than I’ve been in a few years (due to my college friend visiting and buying me drinks- I’m a habitual pre-drinker so this set my drink count off)- and we made out on the first floor.
