This one may be a bit more difficult but the fire extinguisher on this complete shell really cracked me up. Here’s last week’s winner. Place your caption in the comments and winner, gets PoP t-shirt, announced Friday.

Ed. Note: I still have to get some previous winners your t-shirts but I haven’t forgotten about you, promise.

Some more good entries for an abbreviated week. But given the inauguration insanity I had to go with Sully:

“The National Guard took their job here very seriously.”

Congrats. Please email me directly so I can get you a t-shirt.

I couldn’t figure out why someone would have a camouflaged garbage can so I thought I’d throw it out there for a caption contest. Your caption in the comments – winner, announced Friday, gets a PoP t-shirt.

Here is last week’s winner.

Well, you knew it was coming. A PoP Inauguration photo contest of course! I’m interested in all types of photos – photos of the inauguration itself, the parade, parties, concerts, and what I think may be super interesting – just random shots from the week that somehow capture the celebratory spirit. Photos will be accepted all week. Winner and numerous honorable mentions will all get PoP t-shirts. I’m really psyched to see what you guys see. You can send me a flickr link or attach the image directly to an email at [email protected]

Once again some great entries this week. I’m guessing this week’s winner will not be a surprise to many.

The winner is from Ian:

“Knowing full well the local blogger’s fetish for commercial signage, Karim came up with an ingenious plan to attract increased attention to his fledgling phone card business.”

Please email me directly so I can get you a t-shirt.

Lots of good entries this week. Winner and runner up please email me directly so I can you get you your t-shirts.

The winner from 14stbulletz:

“We do alliteration and shades…paint sold elsewhere.”

Runner up is from 20something:

“It was in the weeks before we went out of business that we began to discuss the possibility that our “reverse psychology advertising” may not have worked as well as we had hoped.”

As suspected this one had so many awesome entries. It was really tough to pick a winner. But a winner there must be.

Congrats to anonymous:

“yea frosty i can’t believe it’s 60 degrees either…”

Honorable mention to Noah:

“FINISH HIM!”

(Please email me directly so I can get you your t-shirts.)

It’s been a while since we had a caption contest because of the holidays and all but this one seems promising. Add your caption in the comments. Winner (free PoP t-shirt) announced Friday.
