We first looked at the Moderno located at 12th and U back in September but it wasn’t quite completed yet so I thought it was worth another look. I think it turned out pretty well. What do you think about the big windows?

More props to 16th Street Heights. I was struck by the double chimneys.

I had no idea the building housing West Elm (1020 G St NW) downtown had so many cool details.

Here is a super cool one from 16th Street Heights. Not only is the house itself incredible but it’s on its own little island.

This one is pretty unusual because it’s sandwiched between regular row homes. But on it’s own it looks like it could be from the Quad Cities.

I’ve been meaning to ask about this building, Union Row, located on 14th Street and V street for quite a while. I think it’s pretty interesting because the building has three distinct sections:

You can almost smell the Mediterranean Sea if you look at these numbers long enough.

These are located on the hill halfway between Mt. P and Cleveland Park on Porter. They remind of the Berkshires in Mass.
I’ve shown the one below before but I thought this angle of how the home fits onto the hill was pretty sweet:

This one is located at the 1400 block of Rhode Island Ave, NW. This one is a bit different from the others in that it only has one curb cut. Do you like this example any better than the past ones?

When we spoke about the development at 14th and Florida Ave, NW last week one commenter mentioned the Solea on the northwestern corner. So I thought put it up for judgment.
