Don’t let Mr. Tabby’s fierce look fool you – he is the biggest love bug his foster has have ever met! Mr. Tabby is learning to love indoor life – he spends most of his time lounging, sleeping, purring and asking for pets, trying to make up for lost time while he was out on the streets.

He would be the purrr-fect companion for someone who is looking for a calm lap cat. He’s not the most nimble or agile cat, but he is the most full of love and appreciation for any little pet or ear scratch he can get. Give Mr. Tabby the gift of a forever home and he will shower you with purrs and love for the rest of his life! For more info or to meet Mr. Tabby, contact Erin at [email protected]. As an added bonus, if you’re over 50, my adoption fee is waived as part of the Boomer’s Buddies program! Standard adoption procedures apply. Learn more here.

If you are looking for the easiest 85 lbs dog you will ever have, Diamond is the one for you! He loves going on walks with you, watching over you in the yard, and sleeping most of the day away.

He is very good on leash! He doesn like being crated, but who needs it?! He is way past the chewing stage of life anyway. You will mostly find him at your feet since he likes to be around his human. He will be your perfect senior companion, so please contact his foster mom to meet him- [email protected]! As an added bonus, if you’re over 50, the adoption fee is waived as part of the Boomer’s Buddies program! Standard adoption procedures apply. Learn more here.

“This is Harper from Woodridge, DC! She’s posing for her autumn glamour shot in front a blooming field of coreopsis at the Arboretum. We adopted this happy girl two years ago from Lucky Dog. She loves catching the frisbee in our neighborhood park and trying to play with all of the stray cats on the block!”
