All hail the Queen! Beyoncé (Queen B) is the most perfect gracefully aging diva around. Unlike her namesake, this Beyoncé has slowed in her old age but she still enjoys leisurely strolls and sniffs. Beyoncé does very well with other dogs and kids; she is housetrained, and has recently had diagnostic and dental work completed by the rescue organization, so she’s in great shape to join her forever family! Beyoncé is a great cuddler and loves a good wiggle on a fluffy carpet. This Queen is ready to find her perfect palace and family! Find out more about adopting Beyoncé here: Beyonce at GrayFaceAcres

Meet Langston! This handsome, 1 ½-year old fellow was found as a stray, struggling to get around. Langston has moderate CHF (also known as Wobbly Cat Syndrome). He deals with it well and it never stops him from greeting new friends! Langston loves to play with his toys, but his favorite activity is snuggling and cuddling with his people! He is a real love bug for sure. Langston’s illness, while neither painful nor progressive, means he cannot be in a home with stairs, other cats or dogs. He is truly people friendly, so should get along with just about anyone, including children. Loving Langston is in the market for a special forever home – could it be yours? “Having spent the last 16 months in Roxbury Correctional Facility in happy hounds prison dog initiative program, Oakley found his forever home in March of this year! After 2 days of fostering him we knew we couldn’t ever part with him, even though he cried all night for the first week. He had a home for the first 6 years of his life but was surrendered to animal control when he became dog reactive after getting attacked. He was in the prison program living with an inmate for so long learning new tricks and behavior skills so he could get adopted again, and had a few failed attempts before we found him. The goal is for Oakley to be my therapy dog, as I’m a clinical social worker, but for now he enjoys going through the trash, eating ice cream, and chasing the ball.”

Oreo is a work in progress. You know the type, shy at first, jumps at noises? Once you give him a chance to warm up to you and your home, he is an affectionate and playful youngster that will cuddle up next to you, and sleep on your feet and try to catch them through the blankets. He has the softest meow and when his foster mom asks him if he wants food, he follows her into the kitchen and lets her know, yes, he has a rumbly tummy and is ready for dinner!

Just 6 years old, this boy will come when you call him, and will head butt you until you pet him. Oreo enjoys looking out a sunny window at the squirrels that run around the deck, and playing with his ball-in-circle toy. Because he takes a while to get comfortable and warm up to someone, we recommend he be a solo cat in a quieter home.

“We lost my best bud Max back in early August. He was brave, strong, and beautiful until the end.”

“Tucker is a 4 year old Dutch Shepherd who was adopted 2 years ago.

He was in bad shape when my boyfriend got him and had really terrible anxiety. That’s why he has to go everywhere with his best friend moose.

Quarantine has been great for dogs, especially this guy, because we get to spend more time with them. He loves having us around and has been able to ween off of anxiety medication! And we have gotten so obsessed with him that we became those crazy dog people who incessantly take pictures and created an IG account @tuckduckmoose”
