Update 10:03am: “It was partially reopened last I checked. Unofficial word (rumor?) is there was a suspicious package or vehicle.”

“Officers are examining a vehicle in the area of 14th and H Streets NW. There are precautionary traffic implications and closures in the area as crews respond.

I recently noticed (a few weeks ago) private security patrolling some stations including Union Station and wondering if others have noticed them too? If so what, stations have you seen them at? Do you feel more comfortable with them around?
