You can talk about whatever is on your mind – quality of life issues, a beautiful tree you spotted, scuttlebutt, or any random questions/thoughts you may have. But please no personal attacks and no need to correct people’s grammar. This is a place to vent and/or celebrate things about daily life in D.C.

Tamara may be tiny, but this beautiful pup is as fearless as can be and is always ready to have fun. She loooves playtime, especially with children – she’s fantastic with people of all ages but especially loves kid energy. She also gets along great with other dogs and will play all day long with one of the resident dogs in her foster home.

Tamara is doing well with crate training – she’s currently crated overnight and occasionally for shorter stints during the day. She’s still a puppy and is looking for someone who’s willing to keep working with her on housetraining and doggie basics. Interested in adding a fun-loving furball to your home? Apply today to meet Tamara!

Sangria is a polydactyl beauty that has spent the last couple of months being the most wonderful and attentive mama to her three adorable kittens. Now she’s earned a life of luxury! Sangria is an incredibly sweet and chill cat, friendly with everyone she meets including brief encounters with the resident cats and dog in her foster home. She is endlessly patient as her babies zoom around her, and every once in a while she’ll join in on their playtime herself. Sangria always seeks out pets, and when she’s feeling extra affectionate she loves to roll around your feet and wrap her arms around your legs to beg for some belly rubs. She’s also quite independent and is happy to relax nearby or gaze out a window while you do your thing. While she’s not super snuggly quite yet, Sangria has the makings of a cuddler once she gets the chance to soak up all the attention in a forever home without her kittens around to hog up the limelight. Sangria is definitely ready to be treated like a queen! Apply for this regal mama today! *See more Sangria cuteness on Instagram @kristinndc
