“The Folger Shakespeare Library is ready to welcome guests to its brand new café, Quill & Crumb, which opens on Friday, November 22. The new café is housed in the Folger’s historic Great Hall and will offer lunch, baked goods, snacks, and savory bites alongside coffee and tea service. A bar offering beer, wine, local cider, and assorted seasonal cocktails will also be a part of the menu. Quill & Crumb is open to the public, and no timed-entry passes or event tickets are needed in order to dine at the café. (more…)

“After an amazing first week of All the Kebabs, we are now opening up the dining room for walk-ins! Reservations are always welcome, and walk-ins are highly encouraged. And don’t forget, all your favorite coffees and soft serve are still available for take out at the counter – all evening long.

“DC Water today announces the opening of West Potomac Park Drive SW, a new road constructed as part of the Potomac River Tunnel (PRT) Project. Beginning Monday, November 18, 2024, drivers and visitors will have another option to alleviate the partial closure of Ohio Drive SW. The road provides an easy way to get around the main construction site in West Potomac Park, which will remain active until the project’s completion in 2030. (more…)
