“The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection with a First Degree Sexual Assault which occurred in the area of the 2600 block of 6th Street, NW.
On Monday, July 22, 2013, at approximately 8:00 am, a female was walking in the area of the 2600 block of 6th Street, NW when she was approached from behind by an unknown male who sexually assaulted her.
The suspect is described as a black male, with a dark complexion, 6’0” in height, slim to medium build, 18-20 years old and last seen wearing a white T-shirt and black and white shorts (possibly swim shorts).
Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of this subject is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department is currently offering a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this offense.”
