Dear PoPville – Where to Buy a Christmas Tree?

Eastern Market Lot

“Dear PoPville,

Where are places to buy christmas trees in DC?”

You can see some recommendations from last year here. I also passed the lot at Eastern Market above as well as the Old City Green lot at 9th and N St, NW:

Additionally I received the following emails:

“On Thursday, November 29th at 4pm, Sixth Engine, the firehouse of contemporary cuisine and craft cocktails, is clearing out the patio for their first- ever Mt. Vernon Triangle Christmas Tree Lot. All of the proceeds will benefit the DC Firefighters Burn Foundation. Sixth Engine is also warming the spirit by offering a special gift with every tree purchase, to be redeemed at the neighborhood restaurant.

The Fir-friendly lot runs M-F 4-10 pm & weekends 10am-10pm and will feature both Fraser and Douglas trees along with all the accessories — stands, wreaths, garlands and collectible DCFD ornaments.

Sixth Engine is located on 438 Massachusetts Avenue NW”

and

“HOLIDAY TREE SALE! On December 8 and 9 from 10-4, come out to buy your holiday tree, gifts and bake goods and support Bancroft Elementary School. The Bancroft PTA is sponsoring our annual holiday tree sale on the school playground (off 18th Street, North of Newton) with trees for every budget, wreaths, roping, tree stands, and baked goods. We also deliver trees in the neighborhood for a small donation. The kids can decorate their own pine cone ornament! We hope to see you there!”

Where will you get your tree?

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
