coming to 3307 M Street, NW
From a press release:
“260 Sample Sale, a brand born in New York City and beloved by fashion fans, announced today it will make its D.C. debut on Georgetown’s famed retail corridor M Street next month. 260 Sample Sale signed a lease for 3307 M St NW, Washington, DC 20007 with EastBanc, Inc. and Acadia Realty Trust, co-owners of the Georgetown Portfolio, and plans to host its first sale in mid-November. Harper Sigman of H&R Retail represented 260 Sample Sale in the deal and has been advising the brand on its expansion into the Washington, D.C. market.
Founded over 30 years ago, 260 Sample Sale has built a cult following by hosting exclusive sample sale events for lovers of luxury.
The brand works directly with top-tier brands to offer fashion, home and beauty products at steep discounts, with savings typically ranging from 70% to 90% off retail prices. Brands rotate by the week, bringing a constantly evolving mix of merchandise and giving shoppers a reason to return often.
“Georgetown has always been a place to discover something special and 260 Sample Sale takes that idea to another level,” said Philippe Lanier, CEO of EastBanc. “Designer finds, incredible prices and a lineup that keeps changing? That’s a pretty compelling reason to pop in. The only challenge may be convincing yourself you’re just going to browse.”
The Georgetown pop-up will introduce Washington shoppers to the thrill of the 260 Sample Sale experience, where coveted labels, limited-time offers and the prospect of an unexpected find come together. From wardrobe staples and statement pieces to home and beauty discoveries, the ever-changing selection makes each visit its own experience. For shoppers who love a great find as much as a great brand, the concept offers a new way to explore luxury on M Street.
“260 Sample Sale is a destination for experiential retail nationwide and online. We’re so excited to bring our concept to Georgetown on D.C.’s most iconic block,” said Assaf Azani, CEO of 260 Sample Sale. “D.C. is a completely new market yet only a few hundred miles from where our concept originated. Despite being a pop-up, we hope to develop this concept long-term and establish ourselves as a staple as we’ve done in five other major cities nationwide.”
260 Sample Sale adds a new dimension to Georgetown’s retail mix, bringing a limited-time shopping concept to a corridor known for its blend of established retailers and emerging discoveries. EastBanc and Acadia Realty Trust, co-owners of the Georgetown Portfolio, continue to bring distinctive brands and experiences to the neighborhood, reinforcing M Street’s appeal as a destination for shopping, dining and exploration.
Additional details about participating brands, sale dates and merchandise will be announced in the coming weeks.”
