Thanks to Phil for sharing: “Looks like they’re refilling the Reflecting Pool, which now has the color of road asphalt.”
A thanks to Suzanne for sharing the latest reflecting pool sign posted over the long weekend:

“The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool is being refilled as the National Park Service and contractors put the final touches on a historic effort to clean, repair and beautify this iconic national landmark. As part of the normal refilling process, the water may temporarily appear cloudy before clearing. The Reflecting Pool will once again stand as a fitting reflection of the beauty, dignity, and grandeur of the Lincoln Memorial and our nation’s capital.”
Stay tuned.
