“UPDATE: Heads up, Red Line customers. Please expect the following service patterns as we continue to address the water intrusion issue affecting our signaling system at Van Ness. Customers may experience crowding at Dupont Circle if trains have to offload. Please continue to check http://wmata.com and Metro Pulse for real-time information.
UPDATE: Red Line: Trains are operating every 6 minutes between Shady Grove and North Bethesda in both directions. Between Friendship Heights and Dupont trains are operating every 10-12 minutes in both directions, and from Dupont to Glenmont every 6 minutes in both directions. Customers will continue to experience delays in both directions.

“I was stuck in the quagmire as it was unfolding yesterday. Terrible. Took an hour to get from metro center to Dupont, at which point the train offloaded unexpectedly on an already full platform, so I bailed and went upstairs to walk a few blocks to the bus.”
