Uh oh, Looks like things have indeed taken a turn at Giovanni’s Trattu :( I was only 13 years off…
I did see one yelp comment that said the space had been sold to new owners so perhaps they are renovating and/or rebranding? There were no permits on the closed door indicating any work/renovations. Certainly seems like an end of an era one way or another…
The phone number on their website has been disconnected and google currently lists them as “temporarily closed”:
