“Red Light is not closing. We are relocating!
After nearly two decades at the corner of 14th & R, Red Light has become a staple of the community.
Unfortunately, the realities of remaining in our current space no longer made sense for a small family owned restaurant/bar. Despite our commitment to the neighborhood and our efforts to find a sustainable path forward, it became clear that our future would be better served elsewhere.
The good news is that we’ve already found our new home on the corner of 14th & Florida.
There will be no interruption to pizza pickup, takeout, or delivery. Our guests can continue to get their favorite Detroit-style pizza without missing a beat. We plan to be open by early Autumn.
We’re incredibly grateful to Dupont Circle for 15 years of support, and we’re excited for this next chapter just a few blocks up the street.
This will be our final year on the Pride Parade route, and we would love to spend it with the community that helped make Red Light what it is. June 20th! As always “you belong here”. 🫶🏼”
