I think this is the same duct cleaning scam I’ve seen posted on popville. Someone sent it to the whole mail group for police notification for SW DC:
Michael will be cleaning our air vents and dryer vents soon (he also offers chimney cleaning if needed) . He recently did an excellent job at a nearby property—very thorough, punctual, and professional. If you have allergies, notice extra dust, or haven’t cleaned your vents in over a year, it’s probably time. He quoted $400, but with 3–4 houses it’s $149 for one AC unit house.
