Update from the organizers:
“Thank you for bearing with us as we navigate a moving target, but ultimately very iffy forecast for Saturday. After much deliberation and input from you, here is where we landed based on the best information we have at hand and our desire to maximize music and enjoyment:
1) We are officially moving the music on porches in the neighborhood (2-6pm) to Sunday, given that the forecast is sunny and beautiful. We are going to publicize a Sunday schedule that reflects the information you’ve shared about your availability (let us know if you can’t attend on Sunday if you haven’t already). We will also move the second main stage at Fedwell (821 Upshur St) to Sunday. If any of you prefer to have an unofficial porch jam on Saturday despite the weather, of course feel free to carry on. We won’t be publishing a separate Saturday schedule.
2) We are keeping the main stage at the Petworth Recreation Center (5-8pm) on Saturday as well as music/other activities on 8th street between Taylor and Upshur beforehand (2-5pm) for those who want to come out and enjoy, even if there is some rain as predicted by several weather apps.”
