Well I’ve been putting this off because I’ve been hoping for a miracle. In January we posted that “Lou’s City Bar has been closed for a few weeks for a “winter refresh” in Columbia Heights. Hopefully only temporary and not “temporary”…”. Turns out it was “temporary” aka permanent despite best efforts.

When Lou’s remained closed through the NFL and College Football Playoff, I didn’t think there was any way they’d miss March Madness (not to mention Arsenal is near the top of the table and baseball is here.) And the lights are still off. What’s going on?”
I don’t have a lot of details but people in the know tell me Lou’s won’t be coming back.
