“Dear PoPville,
I was in a hit and run crash in NOMA Saturday evening. A SUV driver slammed into my rear end causing my airbags to deploy and pushed me into the car in front of me. Unfortunately, the person who hit me did not stop annd drove away.
The police were not much help and as a last resort, I am asking for help to potentially find witnesses. There were some people who drove/walked by the accident and said they saw it but I was so frazzled I didn’t get their contact information.
The crash happened Saturday night (3/29) between 6:50 pm and 7:15 pm under the bridge at the light right before the intersection of Florida Ave NE and New York Ave NE. It was right in front of the Courtyard hotel, The 202 apartments and after the Union Market Trader Joe’s. I was driving a black Honda Civic.”
