It was completely closed on Saturday afternoon, right before the NFL games were about to start.
I’ve heard from other friends they’ve been closed a lot recently (or perhaps closed permanently?)
It’s one of my favorite bars in the area so hoping it’s only temporary.”
Another reader writes: “Is it permanently closed? I walk past it many nights coming from the Metro and it seems to be done for. I first noticed when it was closed on MNF nights and how its google map location says “temporarily closed” seem as though a sports bar would wait until after the Super Bowl for simple renovations.”
Lou’s website says: “Lou’s is closed for the season, taking a pause this winter to refresh. Please check back here for updates.”
