Located at 611 I St N.W., Karizma debuts in a refreshed, stylish, and cozy space with a hip atmosphere, marking another milestone in Karma Food Group’s mission to influence modern Indian cuisine in the nation’s capital.
The menu at Karizma, curated by award-winning Chef Ajay Kumar, will showcase both innovative and traditional dishes, including the much-anticipated Nirvana 37—a signature creation featuring 37 hand-selected ingredients that reflect the vibrant and diverse flavors of the Indian subcontinent.
Karizma offers a fresh, upscale-casual dining experience with a diverse menu perfect for sharing. Highlights include Fennel Paneer Tikka, Awadhi Lamb Chops, and Amritsari Snapper, all perfect for sharing. Family-style entrée options feature the flavorful Nariyal Chili Prawns, a coconut and chili-infused dish, and the fragrant Goan Lamb Vindaloo, inspired by the coastal cuisine of Goa. With an array of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, Karizma ensures that every guest enjoys a personalized dining experience.
At the same time, Karma Modern Indian will transition to a reservations-only, exclusive tasting menu concept, offering 4-course ($95), 6-course ($125), and 9-course ($185) curated dining experiences. This tasting menu represents Karma’s dedication to delivering a refined and immersive culinary journey, featuring Chef Kumar’s innovative take on traditional Indian flavors, paired with modern techniques. Although the two restaurants share the same address, Karizma and Karma Modern Indian now have separate entrances, allowing each to cultivate its distinct atmosphere and dining experience.
