Wondering if anyone has experience with a back yard dig-out. For some reason, the houses on my block have yards that are elevated 1-3 feet above the alley. There are some that have been dug-out, but I haven’t found anyone in the area who had the work done themselves.
Does anyone have experience with this? Is it something you would contract with a landscaper or a construction company? There are no utilities in my yard but would the city need to be involved for permitting or anything?
Looking for any advice before we waste more energy considering a big project like this.”
