“Dear PoPville,
Yesterday morning, June 17th, around 7:45 AM I was jogging and was bitten by a dog. This happened on Willard St. NW between 18th and 17th St. The dog lunged across the sidewalk and bit me on my upper rib cage. The dog was a large gray or black poodle/doodle. The owner appeared to be an older white woman with brown hair.
My main concern is whether her dog is vaccinated for rabies, etc. I’d like to avoid an unnecessary rabies shots if her dog is up to date on vaccinations.
If anyone knows this woman or her dog or if she could get in touch with me directly to confirm that his dog’s vaccinations are up to date, it would give me some peace of mind.”
