Below is the follow-up from DC for the 311 service request I put in for the missed street sweeping. Ever since street sweeping started on March 1, 2024, there has not been any street sweeping done on the 500-600 block of Hobart Pl. NW;
neither on the right side (signs say street sweeping on Mondays 12:30-2:30 pm) nor Tuesdays (signs say street sweeping on Tuesdays 12:30-2:30 pm). Nor has there been any street sweeping done on Mondays on the 600 block of Columbia Rd. NW (signs say no parking for street sweeping on Mondays 7am-7pm). We have not seen any street sweeper pass around here not once since the street sweeping season started.
The request was closed with comments saying “completed” (see highlighted below) but no street sweeping has been done. Is there any way to get DPW to come through with the street sweepers on the days/times they’re supposed to? I would like to note, that the street sweeper did not pass this past Monday 5/20/24 and Tuesday 5/21/24.”
