“Mexico’s famous professional wresting troop, Lucha Libre, will be at Hook Hall Saturday May 4 for Cinco de Mayo weekend performances.
Lucha Libre or ‘free fighting’ is a cultural spectacle of professional wrestling in Mexico. This sport is popular not only for the high-flying maneuvers of the competing wrestlers, but also for the mystique of their personas. All wresters wear masks that are symbolic of characters they are portraying.
The Hook Hall event includes live wrestling, mariachi bands and lots of Mexican beer and margaritas. VIP tickets allow ringside seating and swag.
