Nicoletta Closed – “Cucina Morini officially opens today!!”

901 4th Street, NW

“Dear PoPville,

Any info on what happened to Nicoletta Italian Kitchen on 4th St NW (not to be confused with Nicoletta Pizzaria in Navy Yard)? They had the BEST crispy eggplant pizza. It looks like it is now going to be Cucina Morini, which sadly doesn’t have any pizza on the menu.”

Good news from Chef Matthew Adler:

“Cucina Morini officially opens today!!

We are reserving our 14 seat bar + a few tables for walks-ins.

$7 Martini’s all night in our lounge area, Tuesday – Friday!!

Check out Cucina Morini’s menus here.

“Anchored by the 10 year legacy of Osteria Morini in the Navy Yard, Cucina MORINI takes a distinctively Southern Italian approach to cuisine while upholding the same standards of excellence, consistency, and service. At Cucina MORINI, we pay homage to the rich culinary traditions of Italy’s enchanting coast to the South. Using only the highest-quality ingredients, our menu offers a delightful array of fresh crudi dishes alongside handmade pasta and signature specialties inspired by the flavors of the region.”

We’re about a month out from summer. That means you’ve still got time for spring cleaning!

Lexi Grant, an operations manager at Well-Paid Maids, shared her go-to spring cleaning tips with WTOP News. Step one? Declutter. Get rid of items you don’t use, find space for items that need a home and organize those areas.

Then, it’s time to dust. Lexi starts with high-touch surface areas (think: refrigerator, dishwasher, counters, microwave). One area she sees often neglected is the bedroom — and it makes sense. Heavy furniture is difficult to move around, but it’s important to really get in there so dust doesn’t affect your sleep.
