“Artomatic 2024 re-opens tonight, Friday, March 15th at 6 p.m.!”

2100 M Street, NW

Good news from Artomatic:

“We are happy to share that Artomatic 2024 re-opens tonight, Friday, March 15th at 6 p.m.!

Come by tonight and throughout the weekend during our normally scheduled hours. Thank you for your patience and continued support!

We welcomed almost 10,000 visitors as we kicked off last weekend, and many flexed their creativity with the Community Site Painting orchestrated by artist Micheal McMullin on the 8th Floor. Make your own mark when you visit!

Here are tips to plan your visit:

Full event days and hours:

Fri., March 15 only | 6 p.m. to midnight

Fridays and Saturdays, from March 16 | 12:00 pm – 12:00 am

Sundays | 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Mon. and Tues. | Closed

Weds. and Thurs. | 5:00 pm – 9:30 pm

Find us at 2100 M Street NW. Since downtown parking is limited, we encourage you to take Metro to Farragut North, Foggy Bottom or Dupont Circle.

Drinks and snacks are available for purchase on the 3rd, 5th, and 8th floors, and we’re an easy walk from many excellent restaurants and bars.

Plan several visits! A thousand visual and performing artists have filled seven floors with installations and stages. We recommend taking your time, and on each visit exploring one or two floors, enjoying the free programming and performances.

This week at Artomatic:

This weekend’s performances, workshops and other events are listed on the event calendar.

Visit the Artomatic Marketplace on the 3rd floor on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 6 PM, where local artists sell art that you can take home with you immediately. Every day has a different lineup of vendors, so visit often! This weekend is a general art market, and look out for themed markets in the coming weeks.

Check out our international exhibitors, who join us in special group exhibitions. Ukrainian artists are featured on the 7th floor, and artists from Mexico, Colombia, Cuba, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Cameroon, and Ghana have space on the 8th floor.

And finally, if you’re as excited about Artomatic as we are, forward this email to a friend – DC is the only city in the world to host an event like this, and we’d hate for anyone to miss it!

We can’t wait to see you again!

The Artomatic 2024 team”

We’re about a month out from summer. That means you’ve still got time for spring cleaning!

Lexi Grant, an operations manager at Well-Paid Maids, shared her go-to spring cleaning tips with WTOP News. Step one? Declutter. Get rid of items you don’t use, find space for items that need a home and organize those areas.

Then, it’s time to dust. Lexi starts with high-touch surface areas (think: refrigerator, dishwasher, counters, microwave). One area she sees often neglected is the bedroom — and it makes sense. Heavy furniture is difficult to move around, but it’s important to really get in there so dust doesn’t affect your sleep.
