Sunday: “Ambar Shaw Will Host A Book Signing Cocktail Reception for Travis Mitchell’s New Release, DC Cocktails”

On Sunday, March 3, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Ambar Shaw, located at 1547 7th Street, NW, Washington, D.C. will host a book signing cocktail party for author Travis Mitchell. The ticket to attend the event includes two Ambar cocktails which are featured in his new book, DC Cocktails, as well as a copy of the book. Guests will meet author Travis Mitchell at the reception and can have him personalize their book. Tickets are $36 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, and can be purchased here.

Travis Mitchell is a DC-based food and drink writer,

with stories appearing in outlets including Eater, Thrillist, DCist, Liquor.com, Paste, and the Washington City Paper. He is originally from New Hampshire and studied journalism at American University. His new book, DC Cocktails, an elegant collection of over 100 recipes inspired by the Capital City, is published by Cider Mill Press Book Publishers L.L.C. and covers the area’s best cocktails created by popular restaurant/bar mixologists. The book is organized geographically across the nation’s capital. One can enjoy replicating these delicious libations at home with easy-to-follow recipes and exceptional presentation photography of each cocktail. Ambar Shaw is delighted to be featured in the newly released book, with two cocktails featured: Apricot Meets Corn, and Harvest Time, both incorporating Balkan Rakia.

Ambar Shaw will be open for dinner service, so guests are invited to stay and enjoy the Dining Without Limits Balkan experience, which is priced at $49.99 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. At dinner, there is the option to add unlimited drinks for $27.99 per person, excluding tax and gratuity.
