“12 Beers of Christmas: Local Seasonals Tasting at metrobar”

From metrobar (640 Rhode Island Ave, NE):

12 Beers of Christmas: A Local Seasonals Tasting with DC Beer
Saturday, December 16th, 2:00pm – 5:00pm

Join metrobar and the team at DC Beer for a taste of 12 holiday brews, all made in the DMV by your favorite local breweries! Your ticket gets you access to the afternoon tasting with 3oz pours of each of the 12 beers and discussion with the DC Beer team and the breweries in attendance. The event will take place at metrobar inside our heated railcar bar and platform.

We’ve selected the local seaonals below, available together exclusively at metrobar for this event. And, in addition to the tasting, we’ll have all 12 available to buy as full pours. If you have some favorites, the can and bottle options will also be available to purchase to-go in mix & match 4-packs (while supplies last).

We’re about a month out from summer. That means you’ve still got time for spring cleaning!

Lexi Grant, an operations manager at Well-Paid Maids, shared her go-to spring cleaning tips with WTOP News. Step one? Declutter. Get rid of items you don’t use, find space for items that need a home and organize those areas.

Then, it’s time to dust. Lexi starts with high-touch surface areas (think: refrigerator, dishwasher, counters, microwave). One area she sees often neglected is the bedroom — and it makes sense. Heavy furniture is difficult to move around, but it’s important to really get in there so dust doesn’t affect your sleep.
