Milkbar’s alarm is once again beeping every 45 seconds day and night since 11/6. I told the clerk that day whose only response was, “Okay.”
The Department of Buildings said businesses are out of their jurisdiction, but they visited anyway. We met Milkbar’s Director of Something who was very apologetic and said they are working on it. She gave me the email of the store’s general manager who has not responded. Earlier this year it beeped for four months and in in September for three weeks. I live across the street and must play white noise when I open my windows. I suppose now I’ll contact the neighborhood commissioner. Any other advice?”
