I live near the Carlos Rosario charter school and for the past week or so, I have been hearing periodic banging noises throughout afternoons into late nights. The latest I’ve heard it was around 3 AM a few days ago. The banging sound always comes in a pair – “bang bang” – and
the sound doesn’t seem to change in volume or “type.” Any ideas about where this has been coming from? Or at the very least, is anyone else in Columbia Heights hearing this besides me?”
