Ice Cream Jubilee shared the sad news on their IG:

“We are writing with sad news. Our 1407 T St NW location will be closing on October 16th due to our landlord’s decision not to renew our lease. We are actively in conversations about securing another space in the area. We are committed to this neighborhood, and more importantly, to you, our wonderful customers.

Before October 16th please come visit us often at Ice Cream Jubilee at 1407 T St! We have more fall flavors launching later this week and an exciting collaboration launching the 21st of September.

After October 16th, please continue to visit us at our Yards location at 301 Water St SE, Ballston Quarter and in Reston Town Center in early 2024. You can also find us at grocery stores nearby too including Whole Foods and Goldbelly shipping.

Please stay tuned for more announcements soon as we continue to expand and serve you better with the locally made, Washington area, award winning ice cream. Thank you for your continued loyalty and understanding. We deeply appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you at our other locations.”

Finding a gift for moms can be difficult. Google “Mother’s Day gifts,” and you’ll scroll through endless lists of beauty products, candles and fuzzy robes. Sure, those are sweet, but sometimes it’s fun to surprise loved ones with something a little more, well, practical!

Here’s one idea: Give her a gift certificate for a home cleaning from Well-Paid Maids. It’s the perfect “thank you,” “I love you” or “you’ve got this” for any mom. She can schedule the home cleaning at her convenience and breathe easy knowing she has one less thing to do.

Our cleaners will take care of everything, including vacuuming and mopping as well as cleaning and dusting countertops, tables, mirrors, appliances and more. Sinks, toilets, showers and appliance exteriors also get a good scrub.
